To be able to serve, we need money. Funds are raised by us during fundraising events like the Windhoek Show, the Namibia Tourism Expo, Christmas Cake selling and lots of other big and small events. Lions members work for free during these events and put in a lot of effort (work, time and money) to make as much money as possible.
We also receive a lot of donations, either in form of goods (e.g. at the Windhoek Show) which we then sell, or in cash. A very big thank you goes to all our sponsors and donors which help us to support lots of people in our community. We also have twinning relationships with other Lions Clubs in especially Germany and they also send us funds for specific projects in Namibia.
We guarantee that 100% of the donations will be used for the projects. The Lions Club Windhoek Alte Feste does not take any percentage as administration fees. The club expenses are covered by membership fees paid by the Lions.
The Lions Club Windhoek Alte Feste will obviously give you a “donation receipt”. If you feel like donating, please feel free to use the bank details below and as description, you can name a single project which you would like to support.
